The government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spent more than $ 13 million on various planes used by the presidency during the outbreak of the Corona epidemic, prompting a Turkish MP to submit an investigation to Parliament on these figures.

The opposition added: “Therefore, we would like to respond to the Minister of Communications to clarify the truth of these matters, especially since there is no transparency regarding Erdogan’s planes, and no one provides information about them despite previous interrogations.”
What the opposition deputy said about the extravagance of the Erdogan regime, the Turks have been persistent. On September 6, data released by the Ministry of Finance and Finance revealed that the cost of government car rentals in the past 22 months has exceeded 1 billion pounds.
Previous media reports indicated that the Corona virus outbreak was not enough to pressure government sectors to cut spending, stating that £ 20.7 million was spent on car rentals last January, and in February this figure reached 60.3 million pounds.
During the past year, 562 million lire from the public budget was spent on public sector car rental.
Over the past ten years, the Government of Justice and Development of Turkey spent 3.6 billion lire from the state treasury on car rentals, according to the same source.

Earlier, the Turkish Audit Office issued an oversight report, which revealed massive corruption in all Turkish institutions and municipal administrations of Erdogan’s party, including bribery, favoritism, and illegal profits.
The report noted that courtesy and favoritism of friends and family in employment was rampant in these institutions and municipalities, and many forms of illegal profit and violations of the law were detected that had become a common practice in municipalities.
