Deputy Sheikh Hassan Ezz El-Din, a member of the “Al-Wafa for the Resistance” bloc, commented on the 45th session of the Human Rights Council on the 22nd of this year, saying: “During the sessions held to discuss the reports of the International Commission of Inquiry on human rights violations in Syria, the delegate of the Israeli enemy confronted in his intervention and raised a sentence From the slander and lies, exploiting human rights to incite and incite civil society against Hezbollah. In this context, Lebanon was silent and did not make use of its legal and political right to respond, therefore it was considered a timid position that was not at the required level in the defense of Lebanon, its interests, components and sovereignty, which added to our amazement what was expressed in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in article 5 that the delegate of the enemy The Israeli government did not address the situation in Lebanon at all, and article 3 prohibits the selection of any of the components of Lebanon in decisions issued by international organizations.

He asked: “Isn’t the request of the representative of the Israeli enemy, the International Committee of Inquiry, to hold Hezbollah accountable and accuse it of committing systematic human rights violations and international crimes and bring it to justice, a target for Lebanon inflicts strategic damage in forums and forums and at the level of its international relations? Why this silence about these lies and fabrications? These questions are presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and I ask His Excellency the Minister to clarify what happened to the Lebanese public opinion, remove ambiguities from the situation and take the necessary measures in the face of any mismanagement, omission or intentional error.

He warned of “the dangers of this policy, which may lead to weakening Lebanon’s political and diplomatic role in defending its causes and interests with our missions abroad.”
