He refused to receive any list of candidates for any ministry, while the couple insisted on appointing Shiite ministers. Adeeb is sure that the option to apologize is still the most appropriate. And in the meeting, which was supposed to take place between him and the President of the Republic at eleven in the morning before noon on Friday, Adeeb pretended to apologize for forming the government. He received more French and non-French calls, urging him to delay a few hours. The meeting was postponed to five in the afternoon. Communications have not progressed. In fact, the positions of the Marada Movement, the Tashnak Party and the Democratic Party even refused to elect the prime minister designated for the names of the ministers, and that they would not give confidence to the government if they did not participate in the election of ministers in it.
Trust retention
It is the fifth meeting between Aoun and Adeeb. No government formula was presented in it, according to monitoring sources. But it is the first meeting in which Adib has carried a black file with him.
