Former Minister Elias Bou Saab said in a televised interview that “if I had spent the sums in the Bank of Lebanon that I monitored in the Ministry of Education when I was minister, and they are intended for the implementation of interactive programs in public schools, we would have achieved the electronic education remotely and we would have secured computers for all students in official schools. ”
Bou Saab revealed that “the Minister of Education Tariq Al-Majzoub is the one who obstructs the disbursement of the amount approved by the House of Representatives for the application of interactive electronic curricula in public schools.” He blamed the school, which finally carried out his work.
And he added: “I haven’t talked to Majzoub for months because he took the Ministry of Education to a place where he had no mercy on students, parents, private schools, or public schools, and I lost hope of him, who is obstructed by nature. ”
Bou Saab added: “I do not claim to be the best minister of education, but it is certain that Minister Majzoub has failed a minister of education, and calamities will appear in the ministry after he leaves.”
On the issue of the dismissal of the former director of the National Center for Research and Development Nada Oweijan, Bou Saab said: “They investigate with Nada Oweijan, and originally they investigated, and it was found that the minister falsified the dismissal, and there are complaints against him of more from an employee, and I didn’t send him a letter, nor did I say about Una is a red line and I never spoke to him. “
He continued: “Al-Majzoub spoke about the most honest judges of the Council of State, accusing them of being corrupt, but these sums are his right for 5 years, and they were not paid with the state budget or with public money, but from international organizations taxpayers, and there are other judges who are present in all the cables of the state and receive more many of them. “
