Ibrahim pointed out that “what happened was a disagreement between the Ministry of Economy and the Hornos on the validity of what the bakery union had proposed for a long time.
He said: “We promised former Economy Minister Mansour Bteish to cancel these minutes, and so did current Minister Raúl Nehme, but we were surprised to call bakeries and bakeries to attend a test session on October 1, knowing that bakeries They are currently going through various crises and difficulties in securing bread, the first of which is absence. Experienced workforce and poor quality of flour For this reason, the Federation of Bakeries and Bakery Unions of Lebanon announces an open strike in case all these acts that were drawn up in contravention of reality against bakery owners are not canceled. .
Ibrahim appealed to the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the interim government, Raúl Nehme, to work immediately to address this problem and close the file before the judiciary.
He stressed that “the Union values and respects the work of the impartial Judicial Power. We hope that it will decide positively on this file, knowing that we are not against the Judicial Power that fulfills its functions, and we do not pressure it with our statement.”
Ibrahim explained that he sent a letter to the Minister of Economy and Trade, at his request. The subject of the seizure reports has been decided from one month to date.
