He called on the world “to help us ensure the safe return of displaced Syrians to their homes, because Lebanon, which is suffering the weight of unprecedented crises that weighs on its shoulders, will no longer be able to host the largest number of refugees in the world. world in relation to population. “

President Aoun noted that “despite all the suffering, Lebanon, which participated in the founding of the United Nations and made the decision to participate in the peacekeeping forces, and launched an initiative to establish an” Academy Humana for Encounter and Dialogue “and that it had the support of the United Nations, confirms that the difficulties will not deter it from continuing its positive role at the international level.”
