The former Al-Akhaa wa Ansar player had been lying in hospital in the intensive care ward for several weeks in a life-and-death struggle after a stray bullet to the head struck him in the capital, Beirut.
The Lebanese mourned the player on their social media pages, expressing their sadness and anger at his heartbreaking game.
