Yesterday, Tuesday, the historic peace treaty between the United Arab Emirates and Israel was signed under the auspices of the United States at the White House, in a move aimed at stabilizing the region.
And “Sky News Arabia” published the text of the historic peace treaty, which the United Arab Emirates and Israel signed in Washington on Tuesday.
According to the most prominent articles of the treaty, the two countries “aspire to achieve a vision that will make the Middle East enjoy stability, peace and prosperity”, so that “all countries and peoples of the region enjoy.”
The treaty also establishes that “the two countries wish to establish friendly diplomatic relations, and aspire to cooperate and make relations completely normal, and advance along a new path that opens the door to the great potentials of the region.”
The agreement stated that “the challenges facing the Middle East will not find their solution except through cooperation and not war.” The two sides “are determined to achieve lasting peace, stability and prosperity for their countries.”
The two sides also recognized the “importance of establishing security and peace in the region and the world, based on mutual understanding and coexistence.”
According to the text, the two countries also encouraged “efforts to promote dialogue between religions and cultures, with the aim of establishing a culture of peace between the three religions and all humanity.”
The United Arab Emirates and Israel also seek, according to the treaty, “to eradicate extremist ideology and end conflicts, to give all children a better future.”
The treaty was signed on the Emirati side by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and on the Israeli side, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The historic event, which took place on the South Lawn of the White House, was attended by some 700 guests from around the world.
