News of the new Corona virus outbreak continues, the latest of which was a bank robbery under threat of coughing.
A thief broke into an Italian bank in the north of the country, threatening employees with coughing in their faces and passing on the new Corona virus infection, if they did not hand over the money.
The 62-year-old thief did not use a traditional weapon to steal an amount of more than 4,200 euros from a bank in the Italian city of Turin, but threatened employees with another weapon, which is the “Covid-19” infection, according to the Italian website “tgcom24”.
“Do not move or I will infect you with a crown”, a phrase that threatened the thief who was disguised with a “latex” mask on his face, and waved his cane at the bank employees, demanding a cough, until they handed him the money in the bank safe and then they run away with the money.
However, thanks to the description provided by the witnesses who attended the incident, the Italian police were able to locate and arrest the thief.
In the thief’s house, the stolen money, the costumes, a toy gun, two pairs of handcuffs and the clothes that he had worn during the robbery, which were the tools that led to his arrest and trial, were found in the thief’s house.
It seems that the bank robbery was not his first crime, but rather he carried out a robbery in a store located on the outskirts of the city, and was arrested last December and then released.
