Third: After carrying out the necessary controls inside the prison, as of 9/8/2020, it was found on 9/11/2020 that 13 inmates and 9 staff members were injured, for which the prisoners were transferred to a building that had been prepared for quarantine in the Central Prison, and was designated in cooperation with the Ministry of Health. The General, the International Red Cross and the World Health Organization. In addition, departments in various government hospitals have been designated to treat and follow up on those in need of treatment.

Fourth: The nursing team that monitors injured prisoners in their designated building within the prison is comprised of nurses from the World Health Organization who specialize in monitoring Corona cases, and physicians assigned to follow these procedures. by the Ministry of Public Health in cooperation with the Roumieh Medical Center and doctors from the Internal Security Forces.

Fifth: Currently, the health situation inside the Roumieh prison is under control, and during the last twenty-four hours, PCR tests were performed on a large number of prisoners and all the people who reported or appeared to have any symptoms of coronavirus.
The families of the prisoners whose children were infected with the Coronavirus were also informed, so they contacted them by phone and were reassured of their situation.
Clarification was required. “
