He noted that “for this he spoke quickly with the Minister of the Interior and Municipalities, the Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister, and now they are working on securing two hospitals in the Bekaa and a hospital in the capital for prisoners and detainees, while working on a field center according to a tight plan. “

“The number of injured among the security forces is 12, but most of them do not show symptoms. There are controls that will be carried out on the prisoners and detainees to ensure that the virus is not transmitted.”

For his part, the reporter for the Prison Committee of the Tripoli Bar Association, Muhammad Sablouh, told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that “two injuries are being confirmed in the Roumieh prison and an increase in temperature among several prisoners in the Building B, which caused a great panic inside the prison. In addition, there is a shortage of medicines and a lack of medical attention. “

They also called for “working seriously to reduce overcrowding in all prisons, by all possible means, which has become inevitable and urgent in these exceptional circumstances.”
