Hassan talks about “entering Lebanon at the height of the second wave of Corona”

The health minister of the interim government, Hamad Hassan, confirmed that “the death toll is a negative indication that the country is at the height of the second wave of Corona after its reopening.”

Hassan responded to Deputy Faisal Karami, saying: “Officials must exercise caution so that things don’t get confused when Corona cases increase.”

In an interview with the channel “Al-Jadid”, Hassan said: “Since last Monday, a judicial doctor was appointed in Tripoli,” indicating that last Monday he visited Tripoli and announced the plan that the ministry is carrying out.

He added: “We keep pace and develop objective solutions that are capable of saving us.”

Hassan stressed that “there is no failure of the Ministry of Health regarding Corona in Tripoli, and that there are 43 beds ready to receive Corona patients at Tripoli Hospital, and new hospitals are being prepared.”

Regarding Corona’s arrival at Roumieh Prison, he said: “The number of wounded in Roumieh Prison is 12, and most of the wounded have no symptoms.”

Regarding the high number of injuries in Lebanon, Hassan noted that: “There is no state of emergency or general mobilization on the ground and the death toll is a negative indication that the country is at the height of the second wave. after its reopening “.

MP Faisal Karami stated that “in the second wave of Corona we asked the Minister of Health to look towards the city of Tripoli, and we promised to convert the government hospital in Tripoli only for Corona patients, and to transfer the field hospital from Qatar to Corona patients as well, in addition to allocating the heart hospital for Corona patients, and what we agreed to did not happen. ” at”.
