A Lebanese military source said: “A fire broke out in a tire and oil warehouse in the port of Beirut, and the cause of the fire is not yet known.”
The Lebanese army said it used its helicopters to help extinguish a fire that broke out in the port of Beirut.
On August 4, an explosion occurred in the port of Beirut, killing about 180 people and injuring more than 6,000 more.
Authorities said the blast was caused by storage of ammonium nitrate at the port in poor condition.
