“The Jerusalem Post” newspaper quoted a German minister as saying that Hezbollah had stored hundreds of kilograms of “ammonium nitrate” in Germany to make bombs and carry out terrorist attacks around the world.

New statements revealed that Hizbullah had stored hundreds of kilograms of “ammonium nitrate” in Germany to make bombs and carry out terrorist attacks around the world, according to assurances from a German minister reported by the “Jerusalem Post” newspaper.

Assurances from the interior minister in the southern German state of Baden-Württemberg, Thomas Strobel, came months after Mossad provided information about warehouses in which Hezbollah had hidden “ammonium nitrate,” which is used to make explosives.

Strobel confirmed that Hezbollah had introduced the explosive into Germany in 2016.

Germany had classified Hezbollah as a “terrorist organization” last April, when the police broke into associations and mosques where suspected party members were present.

The 2,750 tons of the same substance “ammonium nitrate”, conserved in “Amber 12”, caused the explosion of the port of Beirut, leaving 191 dead, more than 6,500 injured, dozens missing and destruction in various suburbs of the Lebanese capital.

The Israeli newspaper indicated that Hezbollah used “ammonium nitrate” in “terrorist” plots in France, Britain, Cyprus and Bulgaria.

However, the Iranian-backed Lebanese party denied its connection to the port bombing, even though the party is seen as controlling operations at the Beirut port.

German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer banned all Hezbollah activities within German territory, as Shiite clerics travel from Lebanon to Germany to collect money there.

The German newspaper “Die Welt” reported last month that the Israeli Mossad warned German authorities that supporters of Hezbollah, which is also fair in terrorism by the United States, had stored hundreds of kilograms of ammonia in deposits in the southern Germany, and indicated that party members “used these The chemical is frequently used to carry out bomb attacks in France, Britain, Cyprus and Bulgaria.”

Observers say the state of Baden-Württemberg has traditionally followed a lenient policy of censorship toward Hezbollah, according to the newspaper.
