Bahaa Hariri strongly condemned “the crime resulting from uncontrolled weapons tonight in Beirut.”
He said in a statement: “We have always demanded the disarmament of weapons outside of Lebanese legitimacy, and our project and the forums supported by us have always been far removed from violence and weapons in which we do not believe.”
He added: “We call for calm and we urge those interested to carry out rapid and transparent investigations so that all those who participated in this crime are punished.”
