A man in France accidentally blew up part of his home while trying to chase a fly with an electric bat.
Among the worst things that can happen to a person while eating is a fly that never ceases to annoy and flies around trying to land on your plate.
This is what happened to an octogenarian Frenchman, but it was more disastrous because he destroyed much of his house while trying to catch the annoying insect, to the point that the house became uninhabitable, according to the British “Sky News”.
The source revealed that the man was having dinner at his home in the Dordogne region of western France on Friday night when a fly began to harass him.
The man could no longer bear the inconvenience of the intrusive insect, so he chased after it with an electric bat designed to catch flies.
But while chasing the fly, the man accidentally hit a gas cylinder in the house, causing a gas leak, which caused an explosion in his kitchen and the collapse of part of the roof of his house that was no longer habitable.
The man narrowly escaped certain death as he only suffered minor burns to his hands.
And “Sky News” said that the man will stay in a temporary home until his family fixes the destroyed house, but the funny thing is that he did not know what happened to the fly after everything that happened.
