An exception for deputy “Qawati” from Baabda’s lunch

Representative Pierre Bou Assi said in a tweet on his Twitter account that “the invitation of the French-Lebanese Parliamentary Friendship Committee to lunch at the Baabda Palace, led by Representative Simon Abi Ramia”, has been an occasion exceptional.

He asked: “When will this group learn the principles of democratic work that cannot be correct without effective opposition and acceptance of the other?”

The President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, hosted a luncheon at the Baabda Palace in honor of French President Emmanuel Macron and the accompanying delegation, with the participation of members of the Lebanese-French Parliamentary Friendship Committee.
