On Monday, the French embassy distributed the program of French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Lebanon.

The statement read: “French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Lebanon from Monday, August 31 to Wednesday, September 2, as he promised to the Lebanese people on August 6, after the tragic explosion in Beirut.

This visit will also be an opportunity for President Macron to celebrate the centenary of Greater Lebanon.

Monday August 31
20:00 pm: President Macron arrives at Beirut airport, where he will be met by President Michel Aoun.

21:00: Meeting with Mrs. Fayrouz at her home, without reporting.

23:00: Meeting with Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

Tuesday September 1
9:30 am: President Macron arrives at the Jaj Cedar Reserve to celebrate the centennial of Greater Lebanon.

10:45 am: visit the port of Beirut
Meeting with representatives of the United Nations and civil society organizations contracted to build the port and the city aboard the Le Toniere helicopter carrier.
A meeting with NGOs and private institutions that helped build.
A meeting with the Ventoux camp teams who helped clean up and remove debris from the port.

13:30: The official reception in a distant mansion.

1:45 PM: Official lunch at the Baabda Palace hosted by President Aoun in honor of President Macron.
