Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri revealed on Monday his candidacy for the formation of the new government, stressing that Lebanon today does not need maneuvers but solutions.
Hariri said, after his meeting with Lebanese President Michel Aoun this morning, that the goal should be to rebuild Beirut, achieve financial and economic reforms, and reach a swift agreement with the International Monetary Fund so that the international community returns its support to Lebanon. .

He added that all parliamentary blocs know that, to achieve this objective, there must be a government made up of those who stand out for their competence, integrity and competence, highlighting the need to form the government quickly and formulate its ministerial declaration more quickly.

Hariri highlighted the importance of meeting with the initiative of French President Emmanuel Macron, noting that the French president is working with the international community to lift Lebanon from the rubble below him and in which real reforms and a program with the International Monetary Fund.

And President Aoun this morning began parliamentary consultations to appoint the president in charge of forming a new government to succeed Hassan Diab’s.
