He was elected to the Executive Committee of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and later became the Chairman of its Human Development Committee.
He founded and chaired the board of directors of each of the “Arabian Wings Company” and the Saadeh Foundation for Culture. She also founded the “Aviation Pioneers Academy” and was co-president of the same, and the “Arab Air Cargo Company” and “Aramex”, of which she served as a member of its board of directors.
He contributed to the founding of “Jet Airways” in India and served as a member of its board of directors and chaired its executive committee, and the “Center for Contemporary Arab Studies” at “Georgetown University” in the United States and chaired the advisory board of the center for 10 years.
He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the “Reina Noor Al Hussein Foundation”, “Nas Aviation Company”, “Aram International Investment Company”, “Company of Tourist Resorts in Jordan”, and member of the Board of Trustees of each of the “Royal Funds for Culture and Education”, And of the “Royal Society of Fine Arts”, and member and later President of the Executive Committee of the International Air Transport Association “IATA”, and founder and president of the Human Development Committee of the same union.
He is the Chief Engineer and Technical General Manager of the Lebanese International Aviation Company, and was an engineer, expert and chief of aviation security at the Lebanese Civil Aviation Authority.
He has a BA in Aerospace Engineering from the American University of Beirut and also studied Aerospace Engineering at New York University in the United States.
