In its report, a German newspaper revealed the main reasons that led the country’s local authorities to make the decision to ban the organization and activities of the Lebanese Hezbollah in Germany.

One of the main factors in this swift decision by the authorities to ban the party’s activities on German soil is the disclosure of activists’ storage of large amounts of ammonium nitrate used in the manufacture of explosives, in addition to developing special espionage programs. .

The newspaper noted that “the Interior Ministry has monitored a number of dangerous Hezbollah activities in Germany, threatening the security of the country.”

The newspaper added in its report: “During investigations and searches, the authorities of party institutions in southern Germany found stored explosive materials.”

The German Interior Ministry announced that it had made a decision to ban Lebanese “Hezbollah” on its territory and designate it as a terrorist organization, while German police raided this morning to arrest people belonging to the party, which has been banned according to German laws.

The German parliament had previously approved a proposal urging Chancellor Angela Merkel’s government to ban all Lebanese “Hezbollah” activities on German soil, referring to what it described as “terrorist activities” especially in Syria.
