During MP Karami’s presence at a Turkish hotel in Istanbul on Sunday afternoon, which coincided with the presence of Ambassador Hassan Abbas in the same hotel with a group of people attending a special family event, and with the presence of many other unknown Lebanese. On both sides, private photos of MP Karami were posted at the mentioned hotel on one of the Lebanese social media pages, which rightly raised MP Karami’s ire as it constitutes an unacceptable violation of his privacy and the privacy of his family. This prompted Ambassador Hassan Abbas to take the initiative to speak to MP Karami and introduce himself and his description, as there is no prior knowledge between them, as he expressed to His Excellency Deputy Karami his strong resentment for this unacceptable behavior. and convicted, regardless of its source, considering that it constitutes a violation of their privacy. MP Karami, according to Ambassador Abbas, was not in a position that basically required pointing the accusing finger and confusing him.
