On the occasion of Mother’s Day, a women’s march was held from Bechara El-Khoury Square to the port of Beirut, under the slogan “Go away”, and the women chanted revolutionary slogans rejecting the corrupt political class.

One of the participants delivered an influential speech at the event, addressing officials saying, “What have you done with us? What did you do with our children? ”. He concluded by saying: “The country is a mother.”

In Zouk Mosbeh – Kesrouan, a women’s car rally was launched in the direction of Beirut, under the title “If mothers lose hope in the fatherland, peace”, I toured the areas of Bechara El-Khoury, Ring, Saifi, An-Nahar. and the Al-Marfa newspaper, “protesting the new economic, living, health and social conditions, as well as the ongoing migration of young people from Lebanon. The participants raised banners denouncing “the tragic conditions that the country has reached and the reluctance of officials to seek solutions to this widespread collapse.”
One of the participants said: “God helped a nation that is struggling against the epidemic, stupidity, high prices and lack of modesty.”
Tripoli
At the same time, the “National News Agency” reported that a women’s march began in front of the El Mina Center towards Abdel Hamid Karami Square in Tripoli on the occasion of Mother’s Day, under the title “Mothers who lost hope for peace in the homeland “.
Mothers from different regions and neighborhoods participated in the march, chanted patriotic slogans and hymns, and rejected the state of affairs and the living and economic conditions.
