Returning to the Baabda meeting, sources say that Prime Minister Hariri did not bring with him a new government formation, but instead argued with President Aoun in the old formation in his hands, which includes 18 specialized ministers, divided into three six, and none. of them represents Hezbollah’s point of view.
Sources say that Aoun asked Hariri if Hezbollah had expressed its opinion by removing the two names that he called in the previous formation, that is, the one approved by Hariri, namely Ibrahim Shahrour and Maya Kanaan, and the latter replied, I did not consult with him.
Here, President Aoun insisted on a different approach than before according to his well-known standards. He repeated his question on whether a consensus had been reached with Hezbollah on the names of its two ministers. Bassil was quick to tweet on his Twitter account, welcoming Sayyed Nasrallah’s positions and saying: “This is what the movement and the Lebanese are waiting for. This is the joint project that everyone can join, and this is the spirit of the “improved” understanding document that can save the country and carry it forward with actions to protect Lebanon. “
