We also paid a high price on March 14, and we are not ready. to haggle.

Hanakash stressed that the brigades positioned themselves in the opposition and rejected any settlement or entry to the government, since we did not give confidence to any government or budget, and we got up and held demonstrations in the street and at the entrances to Burj Hammoud. and the Al-Jadida landfill for 33 days and resigned from the government after we felt we were false witnesses.

In response to a question, Hankash explained that he was on the street of Jal el Dib on the night of October 17, and the Falange Party tried to be the voice of the opposition from within until it came to his resignation. “We are a partner on this front that we are trying to build from groups on the ground,” he said.

Hankash expressed his respect and reverence for every person who descended from a sore heart along the way, referring to the young people of Edem who did not belong to a party who took to the streets, but saw that what there was was not like the revolution of 17 October.

Hankash stressed that the anger of the people should go to a place, which is the House of Representatives, that has become sterile and unproductive, and told the dead representatives in parliament: “What can you change from within the parliament? to protect the people of Corona and the Beirut explosion or the theft of their money from Sinks? “He pointed out that all the deputies who resigned tried to make a change from within more than two years, and they did not succeed.

In response to a question, he said: “The French president visited Lebanon twice in a month, but what could he do with this system? ? “Macron thought he was speaking to an authority, but he did not know that this system is a lie. Even about his own people. “

“Each team has its own agenda, but there is a reality: the Lebanese people reject this system and the international community must support the people,” he said.

Hankash regretted that the work of the ministers has become a description of reality. “It’s scary how they can continue the same way of working,” he said. On the other hand, Hankash greeted the Jordanian Minister of Health, who resigned after the death of 7 people due to lack of oxygen, and asked in return: “What is happening in Lebanon?”

He stressed that the people face their responsibilities and the choice of Lebanon they want depends on their choice in the elections, and emphasized that the people will not agree to postpone the elections because it is the only chance for change. Hankash added: “After October 17, either we say that there is a new popular will, awareness and confidence for change, or that this Lebanon no longer resembles us, and the power is in the hands of the people and the authority is afraid. of this. force. “

Regarding the roadblock, Hanakish said: “I don’t think whoever didn’t feel anything after the Beirut explosion will move if the roads are blocked.”
