After the proliferation of rapes and accidents affecting safety, and in the interest of public safety and the control of motorcycle movement, the Mayor of Al-Hadd Municipality, George Edouar Aoun, issued a decision that states:
1_ Riding on irregular motorcycles is strictly prohibited (regularity means that the bicycle is registered in accordance with the regulations and carries a legal plate and the driver is licensed to drive) in the entire municipal area, including main and secondary roads and streets.
2_ Assign municipal police and night guards to monitor violations, edit seizure records, and confiscate each bicycle that does not meet the above requirements.
3_ All checkpoints and patrols of the Lebanese army and the Internal Security and General Security Forces in Haddat must stop any bicycle that violates.
4_ This decision is effective from the date of its issuance on May 14, 2020, and will be notified when necessary.
