A marine monitoring website said Tuesday that the United States imported quantities of Iranian oil that it had seized from the Gulf of Oman last year.
TankerTrackers, which tracks the movement of oil tankers abroad, said in a tweet that this is the first time the United States has imported Iranian crude oil in 30 years.
He added that the seized cargo campaign amounts to more than 2 million barrels of crude, noting that its price ranges between 120-130 million dollars.
