Khalil emphasized that “President Berri’s initiative obtained the approval of the majority of political parties at home and was also adopted by international organizations, especially the French, who saw it as a practical initiative to translate the international and French movement.”
He hoped that “the efforts made at home and abroad will bear fruit in the formation of the government as soon as possible, although he distrusts the political behavior of some in Lebanon.”
Regarding the social situation that plagues the country, Khalil affirmed that “the position of the movement is consistent with citizen demands, especially in these difficult economic and social conditions that Lebanon faces”, highlighting “the role played by the Office of Free Professions in the movement in terms of addressing the problems faced by the liberal professions unions and their members. ” Especially in terms of the role that the office plays in dealing with the implications of circulars and financial decisions issued by the government, as well as the draft of the new budget.
