The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the interim government, Charbel Wahba, left Beirut on Sunday for Cairo to represent Lebanon at the emergency meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States, which is held this Monday at the level of chancellors. Shortly after his arrival in Cairo, Wahba will meet with the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, to support him in the preparations for the convening of the emergency session of the Council of the League of States. He will then hold a meeting with Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Sameh Shoukry, at Egypt’s Foreign Ministry, to discuss the most important common issues that concern the two countries and find ways to support and assist them.
