As for the Yemen issue, the Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister said in his speech to Al Arabiya that “the Riyadh agreement is the basis for a political solution and a comprehensive solution to the Yemen crisis.”

He also added that “if the Houthis decide that Yemen’s interest is the most important thing, it will facilitate reaching a solution,” noting that Washington’s designation of the Houthis as a terrorist organization deserves to be classified.

Regarding the Iraqi file, Prince Faisal bin Farhan stressed that the stability of Iraq is an essential element for the stability of the region and Arab security, noting that Saudi Arabia and Iraq have opportunities for integration and there is continuous coordination between the two countries. , in terms of safety and economy.

He said the Mustafa al-Kazemi government is doing strong work to build Iraqi institutions.

He also added: “We are eager to increase economic interdependence with Iraq.”

Regarding the Syrian dossier, the Saudi Foreign Minister said: “Our position is consistent with the Syrian crisis, which is to support efforts to reach a peaceful solution.”

On the Lebanese issue, he said, “Lebanon will not flourish without political reform and without rejecting Hezbollah,” indicating that Lebanon has the ingredients for success, but needs reform.

On Al-Ula’s statement, he said: “The Al-Ula agreement will be a solid basis for the coordination of the Gulf and the Arab countries.”

He said: “The Al-Ula accord lays the foundation for solving all outstanding issues, and we are confident that all those who signed the Al-Ula accord intend to implement it.”

He also emphasized that the four countries agree on the importance of reconciliation with Qatar, adding that the opening of the Saudi embassy in Doha will take place in a few days and that there is a Saudi technical team working on it.

The Gulf Cooperation Council reached an agreement during the Al-Ula summit held in Saudi Arabia two weeks ago to restore cohesion between the GCC states.
