He added: “I personally sought, out of responsibility, to promote the formation of the government for the good of Lebanon and all Lebanese. Many of these efforts found a ray of hope, and since the constitution clearly defines the role of both the President of the Republic As the president-designate (forming the government), he wanted them to have a personal reconciliation meeting that would repeat Trust between them, so they proceed to examine the proposed names and explore new and worthy names, taking into account only the public interest and the Salvation of Lebanon, and bypassing immediate and future personal and factional interests.
He continued: “We want His Excellency the President of the Republic to take the initiative to invite the designated President to hold this meeting. Time is relentless and the tragic situation of the country and the people does not justify any delay in the formation of the government.”
