The opening of a new intersection between the regions of the regime and the Autonomous Administration

In the wake of the most violent round of alleged Israeli raids as part of what is known as the policy of “preventing Iranian entrenchment” in Syria, it was revealed yesterday that militias linked to the Iranian “Revolutionary Guard” carried out the redeployment in large areas in the Deir Ezzor Governorate in eastern Syria.

The “Syrian Observatory for Human Rights” reported that “Iranian forces and their affiliated militias” carried out a “redeployment” within the city of Deir Ezzor itself, in addition to the cities of Al-Bukamal and Al-Mayadin, to the east of the province, which borders Iraq. He referred to the evacuation of sites on the outskirts of those areas, explaining that “a part of the militias” had spread into the residential neighborhoods for fear of new Israeli attacks that could attack them.

At a time when the “observatory” stuck to its account of the outcome of the raids, speaking of the murder of 57 members of the regime forces and Iranian forces and militias loyal to them, these figures seemed very contradictory to what presented by the Iranian media. The Tasnim agency quoted a “Fatemiyoun” field commander in Syria as confirming that no member of this brigade was killed in the Israeli attacks.

On the other hand, the Autonomous Administration and the “Syrian Democratic Forces” that extend their control over parts of the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor and all its northern countryside and the western bank of the Euphrates River have allowed the opening of a new crossing with the areas of the Syrian regime, the “Al-Salihiya” crossing to allow the inhabitants of the region to move to the lands in the second bank controlled by the regime forces.
