The Saudi Defense Ministry revealed that the Saudi F-15 fighters conducted a joint exercise with the US strategic bombers, “B-52” (B-52).
The official Saudi press agency (SPA) added that US “F-16” fighters also participated in the exercise.
The official Twitter account of the Saudi Defense Ministry posted a video showing Saudi F-15 fighters flying alongside several B-52 bombers.
The ministry did not specifically disclose the areas in which the joint exercise took place.
The official Saudi press agency said this exercise highlights common capabilities and capabilities, and contributes to achieving compatibility and operational integration, and is a continuation of joint cooperation between the two air forces to maintain security and stability in the region.
The US network “Fox News” said two days ago that two strategic bombers, “B-52”, were directed from a base in North Dakota to the Gulf region, as part of a new mission to deter Iran.
The network stated that this is the fourth mission of its kind in two months for these aircraft.

Iranian missiles
This comes as Iranian official media released images of a missile base belonging to the naval force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on the Gulf coast on Friday during the visit of the Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guard, Major General Hossein Salami, in light of the escalating tension between Tehran and Washington.
Official media quoted Salami as saying that this base, which is located underground in an undisclosed location on the Gulf Coast, is “one of several bases that include strategic missiles from the Guards Navy.”
Salami explained that the Guards Navy missile bases have missiles with a range of hundreds of kilometers, high precision and high destructive capacity.

On Thursday, the Iranian media announced the launch of the second phase of the naval mobilization maneuvers for the 4th zone of the Revolutionary Guard Navy in the Asalwiya district of the Bushehr governorate (south), in the presence of the Commander in Chief of the Revolutionary Guards Hussein Salami and Chief of the Guards Army, Ali Reza Tangsiri.
The maneuver, which was launched on the occasion of “the week in honor of the martyrs of the resistance”, includes more than 700 light and heavy warships.
