He noted that “those who broke into Congress are local thugs and terrorists and have received active support from Trump.” A police officer died, was injured while confronting Trump supporters when they stormed the Capitol, according to the US Capitol Police.

Police added in a statement that the policeman was facing riots that broke out on Wednesday and was injured while “physically colliding” with protesters.
He returned to his battalion office, passed out and died last night in the hospital.
