A statement from the General Directorate of National Security (General Security) indicated, on Thursday night, that according to preliminary information for the investigation, the arrested Lebanese citizen is suspected of exposing several victims of fraud and fraud and not completing a contract , since he was posing as manager of foreign companies, holder of Portuguese and French passports authorized to steal them. He carries the identity of the Gentiles, in order to deceive the victims and expose them to fraud in sums of money.

The same source added that the searches carried out in the context of this case made it possible to find the suspect in possession of two passports, one of them French and the second Portuguese, authorized to be stolen internationally in the Interpol databases, identity documents and Driving licenses registered in the name of French, Portuguese and Italian citizens, as well as On sums of money in national and foreign currency.

According to the statement, the detained Lebanese citizen was placed under the garde à vue (preventive detention) due to the investigation carried out by the Division of the National Judicial Police under the supervision of the competent Public Ministry, in order to reveal all the circumstances, circumstances and background of the case.
