The Georgia state election official said that, against his will, the White House pressured him to answer President Donald Trump’s phone call, in which it pressured him to reverse his November election defeat.

On the call, Trump spoke with Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Ravensberger to “find” enough votes to turn his southern state’s defeat into victory, according to a recorded phone call released by US media on Sunday.

“I don’t think it was appropriate for me to talk to the president, but he pushed for that,” Ravensberger told ABC television.

Ravensberger and his office’s attorney general rejected Trump’s claims of voter fraud during the hour-long call.

“We got the call and we had a conversation … and he was talking mostly while we were listening,” Ravisenberger said.

He continued: “But I would like to make it clear that the data you have is completely wrong … You have hundreds and hundreds of those who said they were dead who voted, while we only detected two of these votes, and that is just one example of your false information “.
