The Lebanese artist Assi El-Hillani revealed the truth about the news circulating in his country about the relationship of a concert he recently performed in Beirut with the high spread of the Corona virus among his fans.
Al-Hellani said on his Twitter account on Sunday: “To clarify the news about Corona’s injuries at a New Year’s Eve party, it is not true.”
He added that “the ceremony was authorized by the competent interior and tourism ministries,” noting that “it was not the only party in Lebanon, and everything that is circulating in some places is not true, only invented and malicious rumors.”
To clarify, the news about Corona’s injuries at the New Year’s Eve party is incorrect, and the party was authorized by the corresponding interior and tourism ministries, and it was not the only party in Lebanon and everything that circulates in some.
The sites are not true, they are just made up and malicious rumors!– Assi El Hallani (@assihallani) January 3, 2021
And the calls have spread on social media in recent days, asking everyone who attended Assi El-Hillani’s concert to stone themselves after 25 injured were found among the attendees, in addition to the artist being fined with 300 million Lebanese pounds (about $ 200,000).
However, Majd Al-Hillani, the artist’s director, denied the “Lebanon 24” website the veracity of this news, saying that its purpose is “to distort Assi El-Hillani and distort the success of the concert.”
Tomorrow, Monday, he will file a lawsuit with the Office of Information Crimes to prosecute the first website that published this news.
