Haniyeh, in a speech on the path of Palestinian reconciliation, said that Hamas had responded to all previous attempts to end the division. Believing in the need to achieve unity and confront the occupation and its projects with a unified Palestinian row.

He made it clear that Hamas was not leaving an opportunity to achieve and achieve reconciliation unless it pursued it with diligence, credibility, responsibility and a real desire to achieve it.

He noted that “Hamas embarked on the path of reconciliation that we began last July, when we went to the brothers in Fatah, and offered them that cooperation to confront the annexation plan and the agreement of the century,” indicating that a Palestinian dialogue with the brothers of the Fatah movement and the rest of the Palestinian factions, and with embracing countries. Haniyeh stressed that Hamas positively, responsibly and swiftly addressed all movements, and understood the need to resume the Palestinian internal dialogue process, stating that Holiness sent messages to brothers in Egypt, Qatar, Turkey and Russia, and sent directly a message to President Abu Mazen.

He reiterated the movement’s readiness to resume the Palestinian dialogue and to reach a Palestinian agreement and understanding to hold presidential, legislative and national elections in succession and interdependence, noting that messages were sent to all the general secretaries of the Palestinian factions and the movement received responses and positive positions.

He continued: “We are facing a new and promising stage to achieve a Palestinian agreement that opens a new page and a new and historic stage in the march of our Palestinian people.”

Haniyeh indicated that he had received a written reply letter from the President of the Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, in which he welcomed the content of his message and his commitment to hold elections and to achieve the principle of Palestinian partnership in Palestinian institution building. as a people, a nation, a leadership and a decision.

Haniyeh added: “We want to enter into dialogue as soon as possible, based on the preservation of the right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation in all its forms and by all means, and on the basis of political, diplomatic and legal actions to defend our right, seize our Palestinian right and expel the occupier.

Haniyeh demanded that the Palestinian national dialogue include the reconstruction of the Palestinian leadership referents represented by the PLO, as well as ending the division represented by a unified legislative council, a unified national government, and agreeing on a national political program that constitutes the denominator. common in which we can pass this stage.

He also asked for an agreement on the strategy of struggle, be it from popular resistance to a popular uprising and all forms of resistance available to our people, to which we adhere in the face of the occupation.

Haniyeh added: “We affirm that we are satisfied with the will of the Palestinian people and their free, fair, just and secure options. We are ready to consolidate the principle of association to face the next stage, because we have no choice but to achieve our Palestinian national unity. , because the secret of our strength is in our unity “.

In his statement, he stated: “We have many rights that are not easy internally: in terms of fixing the Palestinian house, at the level of confronting the occupation, and at the level of the reality of the region and the regional reality intertwined and complex.

Haniyeh noted: “Hamas has always launched itself in all its positions and in all its decisions from a clear motto that the national interest comes first. Today he leads, starts, seeks and achieves this serious movement.

And he added, “We expect a real and quick achievement, and the issuance of presidential decrees that specify the dates of the elections, so that after that we will set up a factional direct dialogue station to agree on all the details and procedures related to these presidential elections, legislative and the National Council “.

In his speech, he pointed out that we have direct contacts, meetings and direct dialogues with all factions and the national community, such as Fatah and Hamas, who are interested in unity, reconciliation and an end to division.

He demanded that the democratic, free and fair electoral process be completed in six months, with the guarantee, sponsorship and monitoring of sister countries.
