Arsenal continue victories with West Brom quartet

The Arsenal team continued the journey of correcting the course in the English Premier League and swept host West Bromwich Albion 4-0 on Saturday in the seventeenth round, which saw Tottenham win 3-0 over Leeds United.

In other matches on the same stage, Crystal Palace beat their guests Sheffield United 2-0 and Brighton drew 3-3 with Wolverhampton.

Arsenal achieved their third victory in a row after winning the last two games against Chelsea 3-1, then Brighton 1–0. Arsenal recorded their seventh victory, against two draws and eight defeats, while West Bromwich lost for the eleventh time, against five draws and one victory. Arsenal advanced to eleventh after raising their score to 23 points, while West Brom remained in nineteenth place penultimate with eight points. The first half ended with Arsenal leading two goals, signed by Kiran Tierney and Bukayo Saka in the 23rd and 28th minutes. In the second half, French forward Alexandre Lacazette took over the championship, scoring the third and fourth goals in the 60th minute and 64.

And at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace secured their victory over Sheffield with two goals without Jeffrey Schlubb and Iberishy Eyes in the fourth and 45 minutes. The victory brought Crystal to 22 points in 14th place and Sheffield held last with two points.

At Falmer Stadium, Brighton drew with Wolverhampton by three goals to score one point each. Brighton raised its score to 14 points in 17th place, compared to 22 points for Wolverhampton in 13th place. Brighton’s goals came from Aaron Connolly in the 13th minute, Niall Mobaye from a penalty kick in the 46th minute and Louis Dink in the 70th minute.

Wolverhampton’s goals were scored by Roman Sayes in the 19th minute, Brighton player Dan Bourne by mistake in his own goal in the 34th minute, and Robin Neves from a penalty kick in the 45th minute.
