In a message to the family of the martyr Qassem Soleimani on the first anniversary of his assassination, Al-Houthi clarified that “Soleimani stood firm on one stage” and some of them were waiting. “
He also added that “Hajj Qassem Soleimani was the current soldier of Islam with his distinguished interest and great contribution in all arenas and fields of confrontation.”
Al-Houthi stressed that “he witnessed the extent of the great influence of the martyr Soleimani, the level of discomfort of the arrogant tyrants, and God honored him with the dignity of jihad.”
Notably, the commander of the Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani, and the deputy head of the People’s Mobilization Authority, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, were killed on January 3 in a US missile strike near the Baghdad international airport.
