Hossein Dehghan, adviser to the Supreme Leader on Iran, told US President Donald Trump: “Don’t make the New Year a condolence for Americans.”

Dehghan said in a tweet on the social networking site “Twitter” that “Iranian missiles cover all US military bases in the region.”

“We recommend that the man who was expelled from the White House does not turn the New Year into condolences to Americans,” said Khamenei’s adviser for defense industrialization and military support.

He added: “The Americans are on alert for fear of Iranian retaliation and, as a propaganda measure, two B-52 bombers flew over the Persian Gulf.”

Notably, verbal skirmishes between Iran and the United States have increased in the recent period, in light of the first anniversary of the assassination of Qassem Soleimani.

For his part, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani previously confirmed that his country and the peoples of the region will take revenge in due course for the martyrdom of the former commander of the “Quds Force”, Qassem Soleimani.

Likewise, Ismail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, said Thursday that the response to the assassination of Qassem Soleimani may come from within the United States, indicating that individuals from within the United States may come out to respond to the murder of Soleimani.
