Beirut – “Al-Quds Al-Arabi”:
A few days after news reports surfaced that the Hezbollah-affiliated “Al-Qard Al-Hassan” organization had installed ATMs in the southern suburbs that allowed the Shiite crowd to withdraw money in Lebanese currency or dollars, today Tuesday, a group of hackers announced that they had penetrated the accounts of all branches of the organization, in addition to obtaining records of cameras installed in those branches.
The group, which called itself Spiderz, distributed a video in which a pirate speaks with a modified voice and announces in it about his process in which they obtained all the information related to the association and its secret accounts, indicating that it is available to all people, promising to reveal more information in the next stage. They also issued an invitation to all borrowers and depositors dealing with the good loan, not to pay and withdraw their money, boycott Hezbollah’s parallel economy and its extortion of state resources, which contributed to the economic collapse of the country.
The group published lists of borrowers and depositors in each branch of the association, which considers the Hezbollah bank in Lebanon and its main source of financing, in addition to all the details related to the value of the loans, the repayment rate, information staff on the borrowers, the budget of the branches and the institution for the years 2019 and 2020.
It is well known that the “Al-Qard Al-Hassan Foundation” aims, according to its official website, to improve the spirit of cooperation, solidarity and solidarity among members of society. The definition of its nature states the following: “A good loan means the absolutely just works that a servant performs out of love for God and his closeness to Him. The good loan is attributed to God, the Exalted, the Exalted. The Association of the Good Loan Foundation was established in 1982, following the Israeli invasion of Lebanon and the devastating social and economic conditions that followed, and was authorized by the Lebanese Ministry of the Interior in 1987 according to the knowledge and news of 217 / AD.
However, much criticism has been directed at this institution and its establishment of ATMs amid the crisis of dollar shortage that the country suffers, especially that it operates outside the Lebanese banking system and is not subject to any supervision by the government. Banque du Liban, so this process is illegal according to banking sources.
As for Hezbollah, it defends this step, denying any damage to the financial systems in Lebanon. Hezbollah Al-Ahd website reported that the “Al-Qard Al-Hassan” association entered the line “We will not be hungry” with a solid economic and financial plan that started recently and it seems that the following is more beautiful.
As for the party crowd, it responds to critics of its banking system that they are “complying with American dictates and blindly obeying the instructions of the Aoukar embassy.”
