Two days ago, several Israeli missiles fired on Tripoli rocked Masyaf’s military centers and factories, causing severe damage to buildings, without revealing the size of the damage and the number of deaths.

The Israeli company “Image Sat International” published yesterday afternoon images of Israeli warplanes attacking the city of Masyaf in the Syrian province of Hama.
According to the photos, the attacks destroyed four buildings that could have been a site for the production of rocket engines and the installation of missile warheads.

Image Sat International, which generally documents Israeli attacks in Syria, indicated that one of the buildings destroyed in the attack was destroyed in a previous airstrike and rebuilt again.

It is noteworthy that the aforementioned attack killed 6 militants loyal to Iran in Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The observatory also stated that all of the dead were armed non-Syrians fighting alongside Syrian regime forces.
He added that the missiles fired from Lebanese territory destroyed “warehouses and manufacturing centers for short and medium-range missiles belonging to the Iranian militias in the Scientific Research Zone, defense laboratories, within the Zawiya area in the Masyaf field.”
The importance of Masyaf
Minutes before news of the attack broke, Israeli planes flew low over parts of Lebanon and some Beirut residents reported seeing multiple missiles in the city’s sky.
The city of Masyaf, which has been the target of several previous Israeli airstrikes, is of great military importance to the Bashar al-Assad regime, and there is a military university and a scientific research center in this city.
Notably, Israel has launched hundreds of raids in Syria since the conflict broke out in 2011. They have targeted regime forces, Iranian militias and Lebanese Hezbollah fighters.
Israel rarely confirms its military operations in Syria, but has repeated more than once that the Iranian military presence in support of regime president Bashar al-Assad constitutes a threat to which it will continue to respond.
