In the context, the Foreign Minister of the Libyan Provisional Government, Abdul Hadi Al-Hawaij, told Al-Arabiya that the visit of the Turkish army to Tripoli is an insult to Libyans, stressing that the Turkish intervention is a of the main causes of the Libyan crisis.
Al-Hawaij considered that delaying a solution in Libya is in Turkey’s interest, adding: “We are capable of solving the Libyan crisis away from the Turks.”
The visit coincided with rising tension between the reconciliation forces and the Libyan army, especially after the two sides exchanged accusations of military mobilization, and Turkey reentered the line.
Turkey again declares its support for Al-Wefaq
While Akar, who arrived in the morning accompanied by senior military officials, to inspect Turkish units in the war-torn country, during his meeting with the President of the Supreme Council Khaled al-Mishri, stressed that his country will support Al-Wefaq against any movement of the Libyan army, led by Khalifa Haftar.
A statement issued by Al-Mashri’s office stated that the two sides discussed the latest developments in the political situation in Libya and the files of common interest, and confirmed the identical vision of the Council and Turkey to resolve the crisis in Libya.

The two sides emphasized the continuation of joint coordination to repel any attempts at hostile movement by the Libyan National Army forces.
Notably, the visit, which was not previously announced, came after Libyan army commander Khalifa Haftar called on his fighters to “expel” Turkish forces from the country, at a time when talks continue. to end the long war in the oil-rich country.
