Iraqi Hezbollah described Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi as treacherous and threatened to cut off his ears.
After Asaib Ahl al-Haq’s militia threatened Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Iraqi Hezbollah entered the line on Saturday night threatening Al-Kazemi, asking him not to “test” his patience.
In a direct threat, describing him as treacherous, the party tweeted that “this is a very good time to cut off my ears,” Al-Kazemi continued, “American intelligence will not protect you.”
“The region is boiling on hot tin, and there is the possibility of an all-out war, and this requires restraint to squander the opportunity on (the enemy) by not being the initiator,” said Abu Ali Al-Askari, spokesman for the Brigades, in a tweet.
On Friday, elements loyal to the Asaib al-Haq militia threatened, in a video clip, the Iraqi prime minister, confirming that they are on the signal from the leader of the Asaib militia, Qais Khazali.
The militias gave the Iraqi government 48 hours to release the detainee accused of firing the rockets, Hussam Al-Zirjawi.
Ready for a confrontation
These threats come after Al-Kazemi stated that “Iraq’s security is a trust on our neck and we will not submit to adventure or diligence.”
