Several Lebanese set fire to tents belonging to Syrian refugees in Miniyeh, in northern Lebanon, due to a dispute that occurred between a Lebanese member of the Al-Mir family and several Syrian workers in the area.
The “National News Agency” reported that “a problem occurred between a person from the Al-Mir family and some Syrian workers working in Minya, causing a clash of hands and the fall of 3 injured.”
The agency said that several young people from the Al-Mir family intervened and set fire to some tents for displaced Syrians in the north of the country.
Civil defense vehicles arrived and worked to put out the fire, while a Lebanese army force and internal security forces intervened to control the situation.
