Damascus calls on the United Nations to take “firm” measures to prevent Israeli attacks

The Syrian Foreign Ministry also noted that “Israel” launched successive waves of missiles from the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli.

He also said that this new Israeli aggression “demonstrates once again the persistence of the Israeli occupation authorities in the practice of State terrorism”, noting that “Israeli” terrorism has increased in frequency after the failure of their attacks and conspiracy, with the aim of prolonging the crisis in Syria.

Damascus stressed that “Israel” has always supported terrorist groups “to prevent the Syrian army and its allies from defeating ISIS, Al-Nusra and others.”

Again he called on some members of the Security Council to break their silence when it comes to “Israel” and to assume “their responsibilities under the international charter, the most important of which is the maintenance of international peace and security.” .

She called on the Syrian Foreign Ministry to oblige “Israel” to respect the Council’s decisions regarding the “Agreement on Separation of Forces and accountability for its terrorism and crimes.”

The Syrian Defense Ministry said that “the Israeli enemy launched a missile attack from the north of the Lebanese city of Tripoli towards the Syrian region of Masyaf.”

In a statement at dawn on Friday, the ministry stated that “the air defense means engaged the enemy missiles and launched most of them.”
