He and Wahba explained that Lebanon and Cyprus reached a preliminary agreement in 2010 related to the demarcation of maritime borders between two opposing states united by maritime borders, noting that “we said, at the time of reaching an agreement on that point, that it will be temporary until the Lebanese and Israeli parties reach an understanding on their borders, given that “Maritime borders are shared between the three countries, and Lebanon insisted that the draft agreement with Cyprus be final after the border is demarcated Lebanese Maritime with Palestine “.
