Muhyiddin added: “When we talk about the crisis of global economic recovery and wait with the emergence of vaccines, some crises remain in some countries, the solution of which depends largely on central solutions.”
He explained that “the key to resolving the crisis in Lebanon depends on political consensus and the existence of a government with parliamentary authority and support, and without that, a party like the International Monetary Fund cannot in any way get Lebanon off its stumbling block “. Represented and empowered in Lebanon, the IMF cannot solve the crisis because it needs a government to deal with and cooperate with to conclude binding agreements.
He continued: “I feel sorry when I speak of Lebanon as an Arab country diverse in the ability of its people, as it is a highly qualified people, which is characteristic of Lebanon, which has no natural resources compared to other countries, but has enormous resources. humans”.
He concluded: “However, it is not possible to benefit from these skills without the presence of a government to help develop them”, revealing that “Lebanon suffers from poverty according to the latest international indicators, which exceed 50% of the population.”
