The Prime Minister in charge of forming the Lebanese government, Saad Hariri, after his meeting with the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, in the Baabda Palace, on Wednesday afternoon, that everyone should realize that «Lebanon is collapsing fast, it takes a government to stop it»According to the official Lebanese news agency.
Hariri explained: «I wish there was a government sooner. Complications may still be apparent»At the same time, observing that «There is clarity on the problems in politics.».
Hariri addressed the Lebanese people and said: «Nobody tells them that we are incapable of stopping the collapse, and the most important thing is that this collapse needs a government to stop it, and it needs a government of specialists to lead the reform we want, the president (Aoun), myself and all Lebanese.».

Continued that «Disagreement on other matters. Perhaps it is due to the trust that may have been lost during the past year, and that we must rebuild between the parties».
The Prime Minister-designate confirmed that «Everyone must know that politicians have no time left, and politicians must also know that the country is collapsing very quickly. Accelerating the formation of a government is the foundation, provided that a government of specialists and experts knows what they are doing, without being politicized.».
Hariri stated: «I do not want to meet the minister whom I will call an acquaintance for a long time. This person who will be appointed to that ministry must be truly professional, and their focus must be on reform, not what Saad Hariri wants. We want people from whom we can benefit in the interests of the country.».
And Hariri emphasized that «We may be late in the formation of the government, and this matter unfortunately puts pressure on the country, but I know that the president is eager to form this government, and I also have the same care, and we will continue working and communicating until the formation of this government .», Noting that after Government formation «We will work hard (to stop the collapse). There are hard and fast decisions that we will make. This is the only way we can work with our allies abroad and the international community to put Lebanon back where it should be.».
وأوضح: «I hope all political parties focus on one thing, that we are in the winter season, and the people whose houses were destroyed no longer have a shelter to stay under their roof. We have to form a government as soon as possible, and the Lebanese must feel that there is a safety net protecting it in this country, and this cannot be achieved without forming a government.».

Hariri concluded: «The greatness of Lebanon is in the Lebanese … Only we can stop this collapse, but we have to be humble and think about the interest of the country, not overcoming the interest of one party over another, but rather the interest of a nation for which we all deserve to sacrifice. After the new year, there must be a government».
